Level-One Child-Centered Learning

The oldest training package offered by RBF, this three-month training is best suited to in-service teachers. Introduced in the year 1998, the Child-Centered Level One Teacher Education Program has been one of Rato Bangala Foundation’s primary teacher education programs since its establishment.

This 3 months course has helped produce a cadre of professional teachers in Nepal. To date, more than 1,000 trainees have graduated and are working in various private and public schools around the country. This skill development teacher education course is run in collaboration with Rato Bangala School. The practical classes allow teachers to implement what they learn in the workshops in their classrooms. Altogether, 504 teachers from most schools within Kathmandu Valley have participated. Rato Bangala School conducted the training for five years before handing it over to RBF in 2002.
