"Working to improve the quality of school education"

Scholarship at Rato Bangala School

It is clear that the development of our country is assured only when we are able to invest generously in basic education for all children. However, children from marginalized groups cannot wait while the task of improving education for all children is being undertaken.

A limited number of seats are reserved for students selected from particularly marginalized groups to attend Rato Bangala School. This scheme will help RBF develop leaders in different ethnic minorities who are upright citizens who have a good sense of themselves and have the skills to work confidently and productively in fields of their choice.

Rato Bangala Foundation has been providing scholarships to 28 children from other schools in the Kathmandu. The names of the school are Patan Higher Secondary School, Adarshsaul Higher Secondary School, Saraswati Higher Secondary School, Hari Siddhi Higher Secondary School, Yuva Pratibha Vidhya Mandir, Rudrayani Secondary School.

Every Year the recipients of the scholarship come to the Rato Bangala Foundation with their teachers and Principals where they receive the scholarship amount. Usually a small program is organized followed by tea.
